As a young boy, Greg Guzman spent many formative years on the island of Oahu. He would go on to live in Alaska, California and elsewhere in the lower forty-eight, but deep down he always knew that he would ultimately return to Hawaii, the place of his youth and a place he felt was his spiritual home.
The indigenous people of the islands, their culture and deep reverence for nature have had a profound impact on Greg and the spirit of Aloha has become an integral part of who Greg is today as that spirit is evident in his extensive body of work.
Greg credits God for his training and artistic talents and draws inspiration for his work from all of creation. He finds great happiness sharing that inspiration with others through his art. During his career Greg has been blessed to win numerous awards, feature on television shows and in the news and have his work published in print.
In addition to creating his own art, Greg shares his gifts through teaching private lessons, holding open classes at the Senior center in Lahaina Town on the island of Maui and even makes time to volunteer in his community, doing art projects with children.
